Di bawah adalah sedikit pengertian yang saya ambil dari Telkom tentang IndiSchool

IndiSchool adalah kependekan dari Indonesia Digital School, Program TELKOM Indonesia untuk Indonesia Cerdas, yang dilakukan dengan Pemberian internet wifi gratis, untuk mengakses konten edukasi bagi komunitas pendidikan di zona edukasi, Layanan IndiSchool, merupakan layanan akses internet wifi di lokasi zona edukasi, sebagai bagian dari layanan Indonesia wifi atau dikenal @wifi.id

Program ini disesuaikan untuk mendapatkan akses Internet cepat dan murah. Khusus anak sekolah dan guru, Telkom menyediakan voucher harian dan bulan dengan harga mulai dari 1.000 rupiah.

Lewat akses Internet cepat, pengajaran jarak jauh bisa berjalan efektif dan interaktif. Telkom berupaya memperluas pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) untuk menghasilkan kegiatan pendidikan berkualitas.

Di tahap awal, Telkom memberi akses Internet dengan kecepatan 1 Mbps untuk digunakan guru dan murid mengakses konten edukasi seperti Portal Rumah Belajar atau TV Edukasi dari Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan.

Layanan ini dapat juga dilengkapi dengan adanya Welcome Page Sekolah yang content di dalamnya dapat disesuaikan di setiap sekolah.

Komunitas pendidikan adalah komunitas yang melibatkan stakeholder (pemangku kepentingan) terhadap dunia pendidikan, Stakeholder pendidikan, antara lain (namun tidak terbatas) pada: Sekolah, Guru, Murid/Siswa, Dinas Pendidikan, Organisasi Guru, Lembaga Pendidikan, Yayasan Pendidikan, Kommite Sekolah, Orang tua, dan lain-lain.

Zona Edukasi adalah area atau lokasi dimana terdapat aktifitas pendidikan, misal Sekolah, Kantor Dinas Pendidikan, Lembaga Pendidikan/Kursus, Pesantren, dan lain-lain.

IndiSchool memberikan penawaran berupa:

a. Pemasangan akses internet gratis di lingkungan zona edukasi.

b. Sosialisasi konten pendidikan di lingkungan zona edukasi.
